The Same thing in BLUE

I decided to do the same thing in a "blue" version. This paper is by K&CO. I used the same products as below, except the red gingham ribbon is from SU. My sister is coming for a visit on Monday. FUN FUN FUN! We are definitely going to make time to stamp! Yippee!

Quick 10 minute card

So, I decided to make a few 4th of July cards and pulled out a stamp of the month set that I got at Cornish Heritage Farms in June. It had the freedom sentiment and an eagle. I paired it with the Jenny Bowlin paper and some Scenic Route chipboard stars, some cream SU ribbon and that I had my kids dig through my vase of buttons and pull out all the blue ones and...voila! Quick and easy and a little bit vintage. I think I am going to have to add a little extra postage, but I love buttons so it is worth it! Thanks for taking a peek!

{Color Inspiration #12}...the sister challenge

We missed Kristina's last color inspiration :-( So here we go, I left the door wide open for my creative sister to win because mine is just so-so. Still tired but knew I had to get it done this morning or it wouldn't get done. My mojo isn't going yet--haven't had my coffee. I used the PTI set Women of Life designed by the lovely and talented Melissa Bickford. Hope you like it :-) The sentiment is from Faux Ribbon.

Have a great Saturday!

PTI and a LOSER sister! ;)

So, I just called my sis and told her that we let down our 1 blog reader because we never did our challenge. In all honesty it was her fault! (wink, wink) I am constantly making cards and she is the slacker...so we are going to do the next color challenge on Kristina's blog. We will both post on Saturday...this time for REAL! ;)

Love this Stamp!!!

I love this stamp for Cornish Heritage Farms! It is by far one of my favorite Rummage Bin stamps! This was a really simple card to make. I stamped the image in Burnt Umber Palette ink and colored in the image with markers. Need to get some Copics but I don't have any yet, so I made do with the ones that I had!

I made him a blondie since both of my boys have blonde hair. Isn't this just the greatest boy stamp! I hope they come out with many more! Stay tuned Saturday for our sister challenge!

{We're Back! Inspired by KWerner}

Sorry that we've been MIA for so long--we're back today :-) Inspired by Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #10. I called my sis this morning and said hey let's do it so the challenge was on! Kristina chose old olive, bashful blue, not quite navy, so saffron, and whisper white. It's cool how you can create totally different cards with the same color scheme. I used Kim Hughes "U R a HOOT" and it looks like my sister also used a Kim Hughes set, one of the silhouette ones and her favorite Martha Stewart butterfly punch. You can purchase any of Kim Hughes stamps here from Cornish Heritage Farms. This store is quickly becoming one of my favorites!!! We hope you enjoy them on this Sunday afternoon. Thanks for the inspiration Kristina! We will definitely be regular participants.

Take Care!
