{More Fun with Photoshop}

I'm having such a great time with Jessica Sprague's class, Up & Running with Photoshop! I had to share another layout that we created. It's neat how every class we build on what we learned the last class and add more neat tricks. This layout is of my other nephew, the terror :-) He's a handful but a cutie. His big love this past Christmas was Spiderman so I bombarded him with Spiderman gifts. His pjs were the cutest!

{My Sister's Birthday}

My sister's birthday was back in January. I was totally inspired to send her a little box of goodies. Even though it was awhile ago, I thought there were a couple of things worth sharing. First of all, I made her a cd of fun dance music...you know, cool '80s tunes and other songs that you can't live without. I followed a great tutorial on Julie Campbell's blog, Stamped in His Image, to make this purty Bella cd holder. Of course since it's a party, you have to use Winobella, one of my favorites. The Celebrate sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

The other thing I was really excited about that I gave my sister for her birthday was a necklace that I bought her from Lisa Leonard. Lisa is super sweet and so creative! I'm amazed at all of her creations. I definitely need to get one for myself, just can't decide which one to choose. Check out her jewelry, not only cool but also inspiring. I chose a necklace with the names of my niece and nephews.

Thanks for stopping by!

{Up & Running with Photoshop}

For the longest time, I just didn't "get" digital scrapping. I would see these cool creations on other people's blogs and just didn't even understand how to begin. Then I stumbled across Jessica Sprague's website. She offers a variety of online digiscrapping classes. The prices are very reasonable and what you get for your $$ is great. Videos you can watch over and over if you need to, daily emails, lots of freebies, and experts on hand to answer all of your questions. I'm currently in the beginning class and having a blast. You work at your own pace and it is really quite amazing what I've been able to learn in two short weeks. Here is my first ever digi layout. My new nephew was my inspiration!

{Welcome to Stamped with Sprinkles!}

Well, our blog has been in the works for some time and it's almost officially ready to go! I thought I would try out my first post with a couple of tidbits about our blog. My sister and I decided to share this blog as one of our New Year's Resolutions...to spend more time crafting, so we thought what better way than to join the blogworld. We thought long and hard about a name for our blog. We wanted something that no one else had, that included stamping and cupcakes. Stamped with Sprinkles finally came to us. Everything is better with sprinkles, right? Then we wanted the blog to look fantastic so I searched high and low before I came across a designer who just amazed me. The blog is thanks to Shawn at Eclectic Whimsy! She is absolutely amazing and I just adore her style. All we had to do was give her an idea of what we wanted and off she went...amazing us at every step. Thank you Shawn!! Well, we've got lots in store for you so we'll be back soon! *penny*
