I tried going for a vintage type feel with this card and I used several different products to accomplish it. I used the bird from the SU set Always (also SU was the punch for the paper). Patterened paper is from Scenic Route. The frame is from the MM Noteworthy line. Stamps are from CHF and MFT. This card is going to my Chemo Angel. It is a program I had first heard about from Heartfelt Greetings (Amy) and I love sending cards to my friend every week. She often tells me how they brighten her day. We are having some rain and thunder right now. It is nice and dark out! I love summer rain storms! Have a great day! Hugs! Lisa

A Teacher Card

Here is another quick card I made this weekend with minimal stamping. The "teacher" sentiment is from a Kim Hughes set that you can purchase by going to Cornish Heritage Farms. The chipboard tree is from Maya Road and the pp is from October afternoon. The flowers are from prima and the brad rhinestone from SU! I thought this would be a cute card for my daughter's teacher as a thank you. Thanks for checking it out!

Quick 5 minute cards and sister is gone!

Here are 2 real quick cards I made this morning. I had an idea in my head and wanted to go simple! I think I achieved a clean, simple look. The supplies I used were, PTI white cardstock, misc items from my Polka Dot Whimsy kit, turquoise alpha stickers from Pink Paislee, misc ribbon, and a rub-on from Rhonna Ferrar. The butterfly is chipboard that I dusted with SU turquoise ink. Well -- spent a week with my sister and now she is back home! I almost had Declan give her a 6:30 wake up call, just so she wouldn't miss us so much, but I didn't think she would appreciate that! Happy Sunday!

{Blog Award}

Too busy with the kiddos to post this week while my sister and I are together in Texas but we did check out our blog to see that we won an award from Toni in England. Thanks Toni!! :-) I love how small the crafting world can seem at times! We will update soon with the blogs that inspire us.
